28 week Braylon and 29 week Mommy

I got a little behind on my 2 week updates, thanks to my week in Miami. We did go for the 28 week doctors visit the Monday after I got back from my trip. Everything still looks good. I had gained 17 lbs by this point, BP is starting to go up- 100/70, and my iron was still low. Even after taking those huge horse pills for almost 2 months now! We had another ultrasound to check Braylon's growth because of the cord insertion issue. His growth is not being inhibited though! They estimate he is about 3.5 lbs already. I thought the doc said that was the 98th percentile, Josh thinks 65th...either way, he is a big boy! They expect to see them weighing in the 15-20th percentile when the cord is inserted on the edge of the placenta.

I was having a lot of back pain during the last week or so. It made me pretty miserable in Miami. It was hurting in my upper back though around the left shoulder blade. The doc said I'd just pulled a muscle or something, it had nothing to do with the baby weight. Thank God! I don't think I could've handled that pain for 3 more months. It has pretty well subsided now after some rest. I didn't workout in Miami all week, and then I didn't have to teach Body Pump last Monday because classes were cancelled from the snow. That rest really helped, I felt great in Attack on Thursday. I was still doing my air jacks and all the jumps and stuff! My friend Clarissa said I scare her when I leave my feet, she's afraid the baby is gonna come dropping out haha! Cracks me up!

Now that the back pain is gone, my feet are swelling. Fabulous. I took off my dress shoes after work one day last week, flats even, and there was a permanent impression on my feet for a few hours from where the shoes had been. And I had no ankles! It was gross! So the next morning I wore tennis shoes to work and then changed to the dress shoes before going to see some clients. My hands had already been swelling. I wore my wedding rings on my necklace in Miami. Oh, this is going to be a fun last trimester I believe!

The pictures below are of me at 29 weeks and Braylon at the 28 week ultrasound. I'm feeling huge and the belly is solid like a watermelon!
